Robert Gligorov, ‘Art 4 oil’ (2006)
Found on new-art a while ago…
A few more works after the jump.

Last Sunday saw the opening of the brand new initiative Greylight Projects in Hoensbroek. The first exhibition there was ‘Sifres’, with work by Wouter Huis, Wineke Gartz, Thomas Bakker, Laurent Malherbe and Simon Kentgens.
Today students of group 1B of the Fioretti College in Veghel created this instant land-art work behind their school. Together they made a great piece of work! (a path with modern mini-stonehenge)
I was asked as a guest-teacher for this project by Jeanne van Heeswijk, but the students did all the hard work!

Eric Von Robertson, ‘All alone together’ (2010)
Initial research project around Duane Hanson’s realist figures.
Car Dealer – The watch on this sculpture has been dormant for years.
This project is essentially about replacing the batteries in these sculptures or inhabiting them in some way.
Eric Von Robertson is participating in WHAT’S THE POINT OF GIVING YOU ANY MORE ARTWORKS?, the very first exhibition curated by Pietmondriaan.com, opening tonight at KOP in Breda!

Pierre Ardouvin, ‘Les Quatre Saisons’ (2010)

Van Simaey’s work is on view from Friday 20hrs on until the 18th of April, during the exhibition ‘WHAT’S THE POINT OF GIVING YOU ANY MORE ARTWORKS?’

Olivier Maarschalk, ‘Memories from the future’
During a lonely stay in Finland, Maarschalk asked his mother, girlfriend and roommate to pick a date and time in the future, on which they expected him and themselves to still be alive. For each person he made a drawing that shows the exact curve in which the sun enters his studio on that specific time. The drawings were sent to each participant by post.
Olivier Maarschalk is participating in WHAT’S THE POINT OF GIVING YOU ANY MORE ARTISTS? which opens coming Friday at eight.
April 3rd: Nikki Koole @ Galerie Gallery
Nikki Koole, ‘Neukmannetjes’ (2005)
An application that generates a simplified version of the game of seduction..
It starts with two babies, one male, one female. Once adults, they wander around the screen until they bump into eachother. They then have intercourse, after which the male leaves and the woman gives birth. Her baby will grow up, and enter the game.. This is repeated until the screen is fully filled with inhabitants, when everything collapses and the process starts over.
Nikki Koole will be presenting new works at Galerie Gallery tomorrow, Saturday the 3rd of April. You are welcome to join our festivities from 18.30hrs.
