Elaine Sturtevant spent her artistic career of over 40 years remaking works by artists like Marcel Duchamp, Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg, Joseph Beuys, Paul McCarthy, Felix Gonzales Torres and others. She mastered the techniques behind each work, like painting, sculpture, film, silk screen, performance, etc.

A full scale replica of the Statue of Liberty in New York, built in a workshop in Shanghai. The statue has not been welded together, but has been split into approximately 400 fragments that have been scattered across the entire world.
Rutherford Chang collects first-pressings of The White Album and currently own 969 copies.
The final element of his project will be a recording on which several hundred copies of The White Album are electronically overlaid. He will also produce an image made of several hundred overlaid covers.
