The sources include people´s descriptions, historic accounts and hearsay. The books contain around 10.000 records from all areas of the UK. The descriptions include poltergeists, dwarfs, headless knights on horses, lonesome ships, etc.
Rutherford Chang collects first-pressings of The White Album and currently own 969 copies.
The final element of his project will be a recording on which several hundred copies of The White Album are electronically overlaid. He will also produce an image made of several hundred overlaid covers.
Sound recordings from three glaciers in Iceland, pressed into three records, cast, and frozen with the meltwater from each of these glaciers, and played on three turntables until they completely melt.
