Tanner America

Tanner America is a satirical blog about a seemingly typical American family, the Tanners: Rob and Allison Tanner and their kids. Rob and Allison document their average lifestyle in bizarrely mundane, clearly photoshopped snapshots. Each photo depicts a moment in their lives accompanied by a short, often very funny, caption. The images are altered in such a way that they become some sort of strange sculptural works. At the same time they form an implicit critique to the Tanner’s American lifestyle and the way they use the internet.
The blog is updated on a daily basis. I have no idea who is behind this, but I’d love to know!
