In 1989 the Prince Noir (Black Prince) set a record by driving around the Paris boulevard périphérique (the ring road) on his Suzuki motorcycle. He drove the 35 km distance in 11 minutes 4 seconds, with an average speed of 192 km per hour, and reaching top speeds of 250 km per hour. He attached a camera to his motorcycle and filmed the entire ride. The Prince Noir is now a legend for bikers. Not much is known about him, except that he is called: Pascal.
