‘Nature Museum Stainz – Outbuilding’, a new public work by Helmut Dick
The former lodge of a weigh bridge in the West Styrian town of Stainz was reconstructed. It became an outbuilding of an imaginary nature museum. The little building was adapted in order to host a life-size model of a giraffe (4.5m tall) in a glass cabinet. The town’s landmark is the Castle Stainz with its well-known hunting museum.
